Happy Teachers' Day ! !
The day was quite fun.
We had to brisk walk in the morn,
i was so unfortunate to be hit by this substance...
Damn you flying creatures!Oh well, i hope something good happens soon.LOL!!
We return back to class & the rest played a game called
Stress.
It was fun watching them actually....
XD
I bet if i gave it a try i'd be kinda slow,
i requires fast thinking.
Hehe, you can say i've been observing how the game goes.
But, on the other hand,
anyone would know the pattern.
Then we gave a surprise for Ms Khoo,
well, i won't actually call it a surprise. LOL
This is the cake we bought for Ms Khoo. Believe me, it was mighty delicious.
Another pic of the cake, just this one is with candles.
Ms Khoo taking a picture of the cake. LOL!
The cake, hehe, you can see Ms Khoo taking pics. XD
All thanks to Siti for the cake. =D Props yo!
Then we had to go to the hall for the concert.
The concert was kinda long for my liking, but it was entertaining.
There were bands performing & also dance items.
I especially enjoyed 1989's performance! They were great!
I like their version of Umbrella....
Chotto, i don't think it's any different from Rihanna's
but frankly the the song sang by Rihanna is kinda... aggravating.
LOL
Yup!
Oh & i totally LOVE the dance item out up by Ana, Nina & Qidah.
Believe me, they were impressive!
=D
Gosh, how i miss dancing....
LOL!
Well, thats about it actually.
Till the next update, I MISS DAD'S CAR!

There were quite alot of tests this week.
Monday - Science Common Test
Tuesday - E.Math Paper I Mock Exam
Wednesday - Chemistry Test
Thursday - A.Math Paper II Mock Exam
Yup, & that leaves Friday as a normal school day.
Well, i shouldn't be complaining since Prelims would be similar to that.
Or should i say, worst than that.
LOL
This coming week would be really monotonous.
My dad got into a car accident earlier this week,
THANK GOD he was fine.
The car on the other hand had to be in the worshop for 2
whole weeks.
That means my weekends are gonna be a bore.
Maybe i should ask some friends out? Or even my sister....
Hmmm....
XD
--------------------------------------------------------------
I attended a wedding reception last week.
& there was
one thing that i didn't expect to see there.
.
..
...
....
.....
CUPCAKES!
You have no idea how ecstatic i was when i saw them,
i was practically staring at it.
Uh huh, & my mum brought back 3 of them.
&......
I ATE THEM ALL!
mwahahahahaha...Well, actually, i ate 2 & a half since my sis ate half of a cupcake.
It was so moreish!
I need more of it!
Gosh, i'm a cupcake-addict.
....to say the least.
Those are the Cupcakes i've been talking about for the last 10 sentences! They look scrumptious aye?
Another angle...
I took off the cup at the bottom. You can't actually see the cake at the bottom since it kinda blend with the table top...AH! They look so good to eat!
& they taste the part as well!
LOL
Well, i should stop now since it's already 11.27 p.m.
Till the next update, Vivo anyone?

My English 'O' Level oral was yesterday.
Honestly i was trembling when it came to my turn.
Especially when it was during the reading part, i was pretty sure the examiners could sense my nervousness & therefore, i grew even MORE nervous.
AISH!
The picture discussion was okay.
I used some good words so i hope the examiners noticed that.
LOL!!
The convo went well.
It was about Environmental issues like, for example, the weather in SG & how do we help raise awareness about those issues kind of thing.
I kept on suggesting ideas that were pretty obvious actually,
recycling & using both sides of the paper.
Classic. The only bad thing was that I was the one prompting to the examiners that i was done on each part of the question.
These were my exact words:
" blah [some points here] blah. Ya, i guess thats about it.... "
Ah,
I SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THAT!Gosh, should have just kept blabbering on until the examiner, herself asks me another question.
It's no use crying over split milk now.Okay, here are tips from my experience to those taking Oral examinations:
1. Don't be nervous. I know it's normal to feel that way, but just don't think too much about flunking or doing badly for it. Just take it as the same conversation you would have with your friends, just that now it's about general topics & to other people. Well, just imagine that you're talking to your friends, this would help you ease.2. If it's either your Mother Tongue or English Oral, bring something along (eg. notes) to help you remember the effective ways of answering Conversation questions. Or even a book to read while waiting, this would at least help you increase your vocab words & expressions. 3. Greet the examiners when it's your turn, smile when you can & thank them at the end of the examination. It's basic courtesy.
Disclaimer: These tips do not guarantee the outcome of what might be had in mind. These only helps in preparing for the above stated situation. The writer reserves the right to say " If these techniques does not help, then don't use them. Just stick to your teacher's advice. Now, BUZZ OFF! " without prior notice. There ya go!
I hope i'd pass my English Oral despite people telling me that i'd do fine. It's hard to convince myself. I guess time will tell.
I'd end here then.
Till then, Professor Arisa Dawn Joshi sigining off!

I received my Malay 'O' Level results yesterday.
Frankly, the grade i got was quite okay.
I mean, i kinda expected like C6, but i got higher instead.
I just hope it ain't my eyes playing tricks on me.
Gosh, i should have stared at it instead of just taking a glance.
Aish...
Oh well, i am still gonna take that exam again.
Yup, like what Shid said "
Back to square one".
Here comes more Malay worksheets that needs to be done,
more compos, more compres.....
LOL!
Daijoubu!
=D
Tomorrow's my English 'O' Level Oral.
Hope i'll do well for it!
Honestly, English is the only subject that i take pride on,
well, besides Art & Humanities & maybe, E MathHowever, it STILL depends on the question that is gonna be asked.
What if i don't have any background knowledge on it?
Or have any past experience of the asked situation?
Okay, okay, just calm down.
Just do my best to relate to the question.
God, who am i kidding?LOL!
Okay, just don't think of the worst.
Okay....
*inhale* *exhale*Do wish me good luck ya!
=DD
Guess i'd better stop since it's already 11:16 p.m.
Till then, moving rubber anyone?
LOL!

Enterprise Day 2007 !!
Woke up about 5 minutes earlier than usual,
which did not make any difference.
I came dressed in red & white, bringing along my cupcakes, thongs & my mum's cake platter.
Yup, i was the first one to arrive at our stall.
After about 10 minutes of waiting, Sya, Niina, Li Wen
& the rest whom i kinda forgot came.
Siti came after that informing me that we had to wait for Zul somewhere.
Then me & her just waited near the main gate of the school...
We were officially the 'Welcoming Committee' for that day.
We even welcomed some of our school mates whom we don't even know.
LOL! It was hilarious! We were like goofing off here & there.
After another 10 minutes of waiting, Zul, Fad, Jabez & Din came with all their stuff.
It was ALOT i tell ya!
Zul's mum baked tartlets, donuts, eclairs even popiah.
Believe me, i NEED to learn from her mum.
LOL
Her mum can be a Pastry Chef, which i always wanted to be.
We placed our things at the stall, went for morning assembly blah blah blah.
The usual.
Then came,
BUSINESS! XD
Our first customers were teachers since the students' were up at the hall watching the concert.
Zul's popiahs were a HIT.
It sold out quite fast.
Some teachers even bought 5 in a go.
Too bad i didn't try any.....
My cupcakes went quite well too.
My definition of 'quite well' is that ALL of them was bought.
LOL
Which was good!
Pics time!
(click to make it big!) :

This is our stall,
filled with GOODIES!
There's donuts & tartlets made by Zul's mum, brownies made by Siti

More pics of the food!
Here you can see more of Zul's mum's Eclairs, tartlets & Niina's dadeh (it's custard FYI)
&here you can see my mum's cake platter with all the pastries
& they include my cucakes, elcairs, creme puffs & chocoflakes!

These were what 4E9 were selling, cookies & also fruits covered in melted chocolate.Yummmy!!

Their Chocolate Fountain!!
Believe me, this was a pretty sight... XD

The two people who helped me set up the stall..
Zul & Siti!! <3

Me, Shidah, Zul & Jeyda during Enterprise Day!

Me & Sera! LOL
Then the event came to a stop & we had to pack up.
We made quite a profit actually....
Happy bout that!
Since i'm the CEO for our stall, i'd like to thank first of all,
Zulaiha! - Hehe, i think without her this wouldn't happen. She's in charge of the Finance
& also, her mum contributed ALOT. & she took care of most of the stuff when i was sick the day before the event. PROPS YO! XD
Siti & Amirah, Niina, Syairah, Wan, Hema !! - Yup, they contributed too! Siti & Irah baked Brownies, Niina made Dadeh, Syairah made Creme Puffs, Wan made Choco cornflakes & Hema made her Candy!
I really hope i didn't miss out anyone else. XD& also, my beloved 4E8! Love you! XDD
Thats all worth sharing!
Till the next update, good things happen to those who wait.
Yup, i know, cos i've experienced it. Janne!

Absent from school today.
I had a bad cold yesterday when i came to school, i bet it was obvious because of my voice.
I sounded like a chipmunk.Now i'm feeling much better.
I was sooo soo scared of the hygiene of my cupcakes that i washed my hands
like twice for just one pan of cupcakes.
Now i'm just scared that it'll taste like soap.
But i can assure you, it's totally fine.
I ate one myself & it taste like any ordinary cupcake.
Thank God!I kinda like the feeling you get when you're baking.
Nervousness that it might not taste good,
& victory when it does.
Also, the feeling of dough on your hands,
sticky yet nice to touch.
When the pan was in the oven, i was so restless.
I just had to take constant peeks into the oven.
Guess what? By the end of it, my feet were aching.
However, In the end, it will not come out perfect but it will always taste
satisfactory.
The frosting part is what i enjoy the most.
Carefully placing the frosting on top & making it even so that it's
symmetrical.
Then sprinkling it with oreo bits & hundreds & thousands
making it look pleasant to the eye.
Hehe, do i have what it takes to be a Pastry Chef?
Gah, I WISH!
I need more experience.
Till the next update, i don't know what to wear!!

I received good feedback regarding my cupcakes.
Gosh, should have taken some pictures!I think majority of my class enjoyed those cupcakes i baked.
Ah, i soo wish that i could have baked them with my own recipe.
Hehe, then it'll taste really different from the others.
I have always considered doing that but one thing that stops me from
making it happen is finance.
I don't seem to have enough money,
well, frankly i do but those are for clothes.
LOL! I'm a girl. Do the Math Well, it's not only that that i'm worried about,
using the Oven requires alot of electricity, so, i don't want to burden my parents.
...gah! Why am i so thoughtful? LOLNah! I hope when i grow older i get to bake real cupcakes.
The cupcakes i did for the class was at a newbie level,
where everything is pre-mixed.
Yup, i guess you get the point.
Hehe, but i DO hope it'll be a hit among the students'!
Guess i'm asking too much aye?
Well, a girl can dream.
=D
I'm planning to bake the second batch for Enterprise Day tonight.
I think it's easier that way since i only have to frost & sprinkle it tomorrow!
Then on Wednesday it'll be ready to be sold!
Hehe.
Gosh, now i just have to sort out what i'm gonna wear on that day.
Red & White people!
Thats all worth sharing about!
Till then, CUPCAKES = LOVE !

A Math test was
dreadful!
It's not that i don't know how to do them but i simply don't have much time.
I seriously need to manage my time, especially now since 'O' s are coming...
I don't know whether i'd even pass that test.
Gah, life would be so much easier is there wasn't a subject called ' Add Math '.
Dream on girl!
XD
But the more you think about it,
i guess you'd be asking why i even took that bloody subject...
Well, strangely, i have no idea either.
Oh well, since i've been 'clinging' on it for quite a while now,
i guess it's too late now to turn back....
Have to work hard for it!
=D
Earlier today, had my Biology Test.
& believe me when i say this, answering essay questions in a rush SO do not work
You'd just end up mis-reading the question & writing about something else,
or even missing some points.
Yup, talking from experience...
There was a question where i left out a point,
well, actually they asked for BOTH butter & bread not just butter...
so on the front page i wrote '
(continued at the back) ' in pencil,
there was no more space to add on the front.
& at the back i wrote '
(continued) '
I have no idea why but i felt so stupid.
It's okay, i hope Ms Khoo won't penalize me for that.
Next week's National Day cum Enterprise Day celebration.
I'm planning to back cupcakes & selling them.
Asked my parents about it, they gave me permission.
YAY!Hehe, that kinda rhymes... XDHope business goes well!
=D
Well, thats all worth sharing.
Till then, cupcakes are good! So come by our stall to see them, or even buy some!
XDD
