Today was good.

Honestly i am looking forward to it,
despite the fact that the timetable's a nightmare.
I have only 2 lectures on thursday

I've bought this book titled
'The Secret - to Teen Power'.
In some ways it is like a self-help book,
it gives you a total new perspective on how you look on your life
& its all about your thoughts.
Just like some quotes 'Thoughts lead to Action'.

It was once featured on Oprah
so i was really fascinated how the book seemed
to have changed alot of people.
You guys' should totally read it.
Its 'The Secret - to Teen Power' by Paul Harrington. :)

Dance-wise, there will be alot of performances coming up;
Lunchtime, Christmas, Open House, Musical,
i sometimes i wonder how i'm going to juggle between
dance & studies.
But no worries, cos thats exactly what i'm planning to do,
balance them both.

I've always wanted to do a Gender-based dance.
Like this;

Featuring Hyoyeon from SNSD & Jaewon from Blackbeat.

I like how she's very clean in her steps yet sexy,
you can practically see her energy.
The choreography isn't all that sexual
cos gender-based choreos are mostly 'somewhat' sexual,
but this, is just WHOA. haha

Just got back from prac. It was fun. :)
Though personally i think i screwed my Breakdance choreo,
i'm always like, telling myself to do them bigger,

The week has been quite hectic.
Projects, school & dance practices for almost the whole days

I went out with the family today,
like finally, after one week of missing out on family fun.
Went to eat at East Coast as per usual,

yogurt @ Iluma.
The shop's called Berrylite, you should try it.
I wanted to eat their Peanut Butter yoghurt
but :( they changed flavours.
Asked them on what days they have that flavour,
but sadly they usually have different ones every week.
Tragic.
haha then daddy said i should call the shop everyday
to see if they'll have the flavour.
Perhaps i should, no? lol.

After Bugis, headed to Funan cos i need new ~~pipes~~ earphones
for my iTouch cos i left it at Blk E the other day.
Another :( for me.
I've decided to buy Skullcandy's line of earphones, very colourful.
Considered to buy their headphones though
but damn, the price tag is beautiful. lol
But there wasn't much shops that sells them at Funan.

We ate again at Delifrance, bought quite alot of food.
There was this guy there that was quite cute.
He looks like a nerd, but a cute nerd. haha
Omg, i believed he noticed i kept on glancing at him.
haha we exchanged glances quite a few times,
especially that last one when i was about to leave the place.

Not because i went out clubbing. nononoooo
Not because i surrounded myself with people i like being with.
not that it won't be fun.

In the morning had Retail meet-up at Bugis Starbucks.
It was quite productive, which is good.

Well i stopped by Bugis street first,
i got a manicure. likefinally!
Now i have candy nails, the colour i choose looks like cotton candy.
yumyum. *sucks on fingers* ...okay not.

Walked around & saw this cute dress,
well short. dress. $10 yo!

Then i headed to the library.
& the first thing i did was, Level 8 The Arts & somethingsomething section!
I actually wanted to go there to search on some things
but i got engrossed in the Calligraphy & Fashion Design corners.
But! i did incorporate some on the thing i had to do.
Which is a 'yay' moment for me.

My stomach was growling like hell around 6pluspm.
So text-ed guyfriend Wan - he's out dinner with parents.
Next i text-ed girlfriend Fad - she's having attachment.
I wanted to text Cis though.
Then i thought, perhaps he's busy since i already asked him yesterday
about today, which already came today but he told me he might have
somethings on so ya i didn't text him in the end.
Then he got mad at me cos i didn't text him.
I was being a considerate sister okay.
At least you got to sleep after a week of damn e-learning.

Foreign Bodies Passing Down Ceremony 2009

We played games, ate pizza, watched a gore movie
& most importantly, thanked the seniors for everything
they've done for us.
During the gift exchange,
my senior Nora bought me a gorgeous notebook, cute paperclips,
a post-it Mountable Dispencer & a white pen. =D <3s
Me on the other hand, bought her a ~~dress~~a swan necklace.

Our batch is now seniors,
seniors to the juniors we'll be taking in this year.

I really hope i can be the most effective & of help
to the club.
I will try to do my best to help keep the club organised
& update all seniors on the performances we'll be having.
But i can't help but feel alittle doubtful,
will i?

Now it seems i have to juggle quite alot.
School, tutorials, projects, family, friends, pancakelove,
performances, dance practices, junior practices.
& that doesn't include my responsibilities for the club.

Yes, so it bothered me.

I believe every single soul has a good & bad side about them.
Sometimes, i'd go like "Don't do that, cos i said so."
& other times "Just go with what you feel right".
But people tend to see the latter of me
rather then the first though i do strongly think otherwise.

Scenario 1
It's not that i don't let you go ______.
Personally i don't feel right about it.
But in some ways, it seems like i'm tieing you down
& i don't want to be that way,
its like i'm putting a leash around your neck.

But also if you look it in another light,
its just wrong.
Going together i guess is okay,
but what if i'm not keen?

Club Crawl 2009 was awesome!
I kinda miss it now after
2 days of performances
2 days of promoting FB
2 days of FB family bonding.

I believe i did okay for my performances.
Girls hiphop was fun,
i tend to lick my lips when i was performing
& sing along too. haha

However for Reggae,
it was kinda tough,
my techniques were't top notch yet
& i tend to lose balance,
but at least they weren't that significant in my performances,
well i hope it wasn't. lol.

Didn't bring my camera, damn!
so don't have much pictures to put up.

But believe me, it was awesome! =]

Joined the SBM Orientation Performance on the 16th of April

Honestly i feel we weren't ready for the performance,

& so here i am, blogging.
despite it being 3 30 am already.
Blame Josh.

Have been having practices for DanceWorks
for the past week,
& believe me, we have alot to improve on.
Among all the other groups,
i think we're the one thats really lagging behind.

& not just that, our concept alittle unstable,
formations not done.
& we don't have a last member.
But thats settled now, well the latter,
welcome onboard NOY'C, Bev! =D

Eventhough she's a senior,
we won't stand aside & let her guide us throughout.
We'll try our best to make most of the decisions,
& hope they work out.
Even if they don't, it's still a lesson learnt. =]

I am so ready to chiong throughout the next coming week,
we really need this time to prepare everything for the competition.

A new layout.
& the tables under Affiliates killed like half an hour.
haha

So i was in bed yesterday
& i was thinking about my current & soon-to-be
over semester.
One thing significant,
was in Econs class.

I was shivering like some drug-addict
my head was spinning uncontrollably
i couldn't even stand right
& the icing? i collasped.
Good thing i grabbed something to help me up.

I have never experienced such situations before,
& evenmore i was being stubborn.
Obviously, in my state,
the logical thing to do was go home & have a good rest.
But nooooooo,
i went to dance later in the evening.
Oh smooth move arisa,
do that again if you wanna die.

& so i dragged my feet to practice.
It was the few days before our performance,
Open House to be exact.
So i guess that contributed to me going to dance
instead of heading home.

In the end i couldn't take it.

Sat down & just closed my eyes.
Then came Ili who asked me if i was alright,
haha this was kinda funny.

Cried.

So i did, went home.
It was a good 11pm when i reached home.

It really irks her to know that a certain someone is that inconsiderate.

It seems in this case, sharing isn't caring.
& that following/imitating/whatcha'macallit isn't the best form of flattery.

Its wise to start from the bottom & subsequently level up.
She already reached that level
& now that she wants to move up, k follows.
k hasn't even taken that one baby step
& now it wants what she wanted too, when obviously it'll just waste
that goddamnthing.
Being the good person she is, she doesn't think too much.
In the end: The usage rate went downhill.
Seeing how it shouldn't be wasted, she volunteered to use it instead.
BUT, k would rather have it dried up rather than
it being used & worth whatever dollars spent on it.
Oh, what a personality.

Obviously it seemed sharing isn't in k vocabulary.
Well it is, just not widely practiced.
She treats k the way she wanted to be treated,
but seems to no avail.

So, why bother being the better person?

Thats what i call hectic.

I feel so free now that most projects are done,

Went NAFA Open House last friday.
Aaron & his friend, Ben i think, will be transferring there.
I really do hope their application's successful.

Gosh, Wan was really good.

Well, basically, its just more freedom
as compared to my 10. long. years. in government schools.

The year where i grew ambitious.
....insecure & perhaps alittle scared.
When you go from a girl
who didn't know better about planning about her future,
to this girl
who has to be independent & decisive about what she wants to do.
It's abit overwhelming.
Insecure cause there's no guarantee what opportunities
will lie ahead.
Scared cause you won't be able to achieve what
you're aiming for.
& yes, i'm going through that with an open-mind.

The year where i really danced by heart/butts' out.
Haha, honestly i've never been taught dance.
Like really, studying the different techniques of like
how to groove and the styles & genres.
I was surprised to find out that 'hip hop' itself,
has different types.
L.A, Asian, New Style.
& its great learning something you're passionate about.
I want & i will be a doper dancer than i am now.
XD

I guess that should be the highlights of 2008.
The ones that significally changed my life.

I dreamt about FTI today.
One word: Weird.

It seems in the dream that i'm close to them,
cos i went to meet them after this fashion show.
I didn't see Wonbin & Jaejin though,
but the best thing was that
Jonghun & Hongki came & hugged me when i saw them.

Dance,
plays a huge part of my life.

I remembered in primary school
i 'auditioned' for a spot in Teachers' Day concert,
& screwed up badly cause the choreography ~~sucked big time~~ was bad.
Eventhough i ~~failed~~ didn't get through,
i tried again for like 3 times?
for the next consecutive years.

Yes, & that was how i realised how true
the phrase above is.
I didn't care how bad i screwed up,
i just wanted to dance.

I was more active in drama during secondary school days
as compared to dance.
But look at me now,
i'm back to my roots. XD

I am so glad i'm in Foreign Bodies right now,
i've meet so many great & dope people.
Just looking at them makes me want to improve.
=D

You can say i'm quite ambitious,
at some point in my life,
i'd be like i want to go to an 'Art School' *nods head*,

I come back home late almost everyday because of practice,

The past week has been really hectic with
school, assignments, dance.
The performance is drawing near so,
i've been having practices almost everyday,
& of course, with Whiney&Spoof every thursday.

Only 5 more weeks till production.
Time flies so fast,

I'm really looking forward to the production,
it seems such a long time since i've stepped foot
on any stage.

& this week was somewhat the same,
but i woke up minutes before 8 am & reached school like half an hour later.
Phew.
& i got my attendance by volunteering to do a question.

Sentosa Trip was fun!
T'was a long time since i've been to the beach.
Had quite a fun time!
Too bad it was only Eugene, Sean, Haziq, Josh, Jason, Pearlyn & me.
I do hope we'll meet up again soon.
But i think that'll be close to impossible
considering semester is going to start soon.
Oh well, meeting them is an enough blessing for me. =D

It's a piece of my Prep work for Art 'O's,
haha good memories.
It was the time when me & my besties were so immersed in Art, kinda miss that feeling.
Pressurising, but if you love what you're doing, why not right?

Today was a fun-filled day with my F1 Work mates!
Wasn't planning on spending the whole day with them,
but they're just a fun bunch.
It's hard NOT to spend a day with them.
Too bad my hun, Sean can't make it. XD

Met at Subway for lunch,
then headed to collect our pay.
It isn't a big sum but i'm proud on what i've worked for. =D

After that, went to town for a day of fun!
Josh, Haziq & me went to watch House Bunny.
Damn, that movie is hilarious!!!
Totally recommend it for those wanting to watch a comedy movie.
Ah & i saw EngLee at LJS.
Haha, surprised that he recognized me,
i still can't pronounce his name right though.
LOL.

Dinner was next, joined by Eugene & Sook Yuen.
at Fish & Co!!
I ordered 'the best fish & chips' & 'Mermaid smoothie' (?).
Not bad really, considering it's my first dining experience there.
Should go with the family some time. XD

Then we went shopping,
i bought this really cute top. =D
Now i just need accessories & bottoms to match it with,
ah & talking about that, i need more dance clothes!!

After awhile, Sook Yuen went off,
& it's left with Josh, Haziq, Eugene & me.
Went to Taka since Haziq needs a new shirt,
i went to the perfume section.

Eugene & me were craving for dessert,
so all of us went to Coffee Bean near Paragon
to have cake or whatnot.
However we went to McCafe at Shaw instead
since it opens till midnight.

We had a very 'interesting' talk there.
An eye-opener i should say.
Darl, seriously, you're an inspiration.
There really isn't much people like you
that doesn't avoid it,
but instead, embrace it. =D

Went home after that,
expected an earful from mom but it wasn't that bad.
Kinda got used to it by now.
XD

I'm totally looking forward to the 9th.
